Create a singular experience for the ears, feet, mind, body & soul.”
"artihc" (real name "Firman Chitra") hails from Singapore and has been a DJ for the past eight years. Genre includes Minimal Tech, Tech House, Electro and other weird shit (Drum & Bass, Breaks, Broken beat, Triphop, Down tempo ).
Music enables his soul to speak. You feel him when you hear him and you immediately understand the passion, love and respect he have for music. He have been behind the turntables for the past eight years. Growing up with such a musical family opened him up to appreciating all types of music, from classical to dance.
Once he was exposed to the clubs and parties, he couldn't get enough of the beats. He was hooked immediately to the vibe, the crowd, the atmosphere, the
enjoyment. The impact of these experiences energized him and he knew one day he wanted to be able to contribute to this realm. It was only a matter of time before he purchased his first 'set-up' and began practicing the art of being a DJ. As his comfort level grew, he went from Bedroom DJ, to house parties, events parties and then to clubs.
His focus is always about the feeling and the realness of the music and its message. Never just 'settle' for what's current. He put on a track and it goes from there and gladly take you all with him. It ranges from House, Minimal, Techno and some harder material but he might surprise you with some dark, dirty beats, too. DJing has enabled him to get closer to the music and has given him the first opportunity to express all that he have to offer. Always looking to learn and broaden his horizons,. This is just the beginning of his journey.
